Custom Aluminum Spacers Made to Drawings
HKAA reviews custom CNC turned aluminum spacers for mechanical assemblies. The design illustration shows plain cylindrical spacers and a stepped spacer with a flange. These examples demonstrate geometric options; the drawing specifies the final component, material and acceptance criteria.
Bores, Lengths and Mating Interfaces
Define the bore diameter, outside diameter, overall length and any shoulders or flanges. Identify the surfaces and datums that control location in the assembly. Include diameter tolerances, mating fits, chamfers and surface requirements. For threaded versions, state the thread standard, pitch, depth and inspection requirements.
Rotational features are reviewed for turning and appropriate workholding. Slots, flats or off-axis mounting holes may require secondary milling. The pictured proportions are illustrative and do not define a standard stock size, material grade or performance rating.
Material, Finish and Inspection
Specify the aluminum alloy and temper on the drawing. Material selection, surface finishing and inspection requirements are reviewed during quotation. Identify cosmetic faces, masking areas and dimensions that apply after finishing. Critical dimensions, datums and any first-article documentation must follow the agreed drawing revision.
Turning and Related Component Requirements
Review aluminum CNC turning services for bores, diameters and shoulders. Additional non-rotational features can be reviewed through CNC milling. Explore aluminum spacers and bushings for related drawing requirements.
Request a Custom Machining Quote
Provide a 2D engineering drawing and 3D model, drawing revision, alloy and temper, quantity, critical tolerances, finish and requested delivery date. Upload your drawings for a CNC aluminum machining quotation. Quotation and production requirements are confirmed after engineering review.
