Aluminum CNC Milling Services
Custom Aluminum Parts Made to Drawings
Browse our CNC aluminum parts for custom component examples and drawing-based manufacturing enquiries.
HKAA provides aluminum CNC milling services for custom housings, mounting components, plates and robotic parts. Milling produces pockets, slots, mounting faces, holes and threaded features according to your drawing. We review geometry, alloy, tolerances and finish requirements to select a suitable manufacturing route for prototypes and repeat production.
Features Suited to CNC Milling
Milling suits components with flat faces, internal pockets and features positioned across several surfaces. The drawing should define pocket depths, hole patterns, wall thickness, corner requirements and the interfaces that control assembly. Rounded internal corners are reviewed for tool access; features with restricted access may need a different process or a design discussion.
Thin Walls, Deep Pockets and Mating Faces
Thin walls and deep pockets require support and machining sequences appropriate to the geometry. Identify surfaces that must remain flat and specify the datums used to locate holes and bores. Where a part includes angled or multi-sided features, review our 5-axis aluminum machining service. Rotational features may also require aluminum CNC turning.
Aluminum Grades and Finishing
Specify the aluminum alloy and temper on the drawing. HKAA reviews 6061-T6, 6063, 7075 and other requested grades against part geometry and project requirements. For material selection questions, read our 6061 aluminum CNC machining guide. Material substitution should be agreed before production. Anodizing, sandblasting, polishing and other specified finishes are reviewed during quotation. Identify cosmetic faces, masking areas and dimensions that apply after finishing. The finish specification and machining allowance must be considered together for mating surfaces, bores and threads.
Inspection and Prototype Approval
Inspection requirements are agreed during drawing review. Mark functional dimensions, datum relationships and geometric tolerances, and identify any first-article report or CMM measurement requirements. Prototype review can confirm assembly fit before repeat production. Changes to geometry, material or finish should be tied to a controlled drawing revision.
Aluminum Milling Applications
Explore CNC aluminum electronics enclosures, custom aluminum housings and covers and aluminum robotics components. These examples provide a starting point for reviewing your own drawing; material, tolerances and process requirements remain specific to each part.
Aluminum Housing Milling Examples
Explore existing housing products and the features to specify in your drawings. Alloy, finish and inspection requirements are confirmed for each project.
CNC Aluminum Electronics Housings
Internal pockets, mounting features and holes for enclosure design review.
CNC Machined Aluminum Mounting Housings
Pocketed housings, round interfaces and mounting flanges for assembly review.
Aluminum Finned Housing CNC Machining
Radial fins and mounting holes with machining requirements defined by the drawing.
Request an Aluminum CNC Milling Quote
Send a 2D engineering drawing and 3D model, drawing revision, alloy and temper, quantity, critical tolerances, finish and inspection requirements. Include your requested delivery date and identify any mating parts. Our engineering review establishes the manufacturing route and quotation scope before production.
