CNC Aluminum Plates & Panels

Custom CNC aluminum plates and panels are specified through plate thickness, external dimensions, pockets, cutouts and mounting-hole patterns. HKAA reviews your drawing to establish the machining route, alloy, finish and inspection requirements before quotation.

Plate Thickness, Flatness and Mounting Features

Identify the finished thickness, critical flatness requirements and the faces used as datums. Define hole positions, thread sizes, pocket depths and edge details. Where a panel fits an enclosure or assembly, include mating clearances and dimensions that apply after finishing. Thin sections and uneven material removal require a process review appropriate to the geometry.

Material and Finish Requirements

State the aluminum alloy and temper rather than specifying aluminum alone. Identify cosmetic faces, anodized areas and surfaces that require masking. Our 6061 aluminum machining guide provides related material information; the final material remains defined by your drawing.
